Things are moving slow. I have had really good talks to several competent and interested people.
The Great Idea is not only turning out to be great but also HUGE. I hope you took time checking out the presentation below. Otherwise do it now.
Other ventures parallell to The Great Idea are competing at the time being for my and others attention. That's why things are moving slowly. This is not a matter of concern though since the other ventures creates windows of opportunity for The Great Idea.
I'd love some feedback on the presentation. In the meantime the process will have to take its time. Maturity is key for The Great Idea to become the success story it is destined to be.

Not stalling
Great ideas seem to grow at their own pace.
I'm working to finish my presentetion and then need to fill my calender with appointments for those who have shown interest in this venture.
Time for total transparency is actually already here and full disclosure will follow on this blog. I'll post the presentation through Slideshare as soon as I've shared it with som of the names on my list.
In the meantime you can participate in discussing the following questions (either here or in the Facebook group):
Thanks and have a nice weekend.

- Would you be willing to participate in a social media context orbiting around a fund raising organization?
- Do you think there would be possibilities to make a crucial change in global issues if there was a way to engage alot of peoaple in just participating with social actions?
Thanks and have a nice weekend.

The Quest for an Advisory Board
Several interesting persons has stated their interest of being on the Advisory Board. I will perform presentations during the coming week but there is still room for more interested individuals.
In particular I'm looking for a programmer that can tweak open source solutions and a sharp PR-person based in Sweden.
Stay tuned for the developing story of The Great Idea.

The next step
Time to get a tad more concrete. The Great Idea requires several tools to be realized:
I'm about to found a foundation. This is the very base from where the adventure will unfold. The specific organization, purpose, name and nature of this foundation will not be revealed just yet. When the time comes the foundations whole operation will be transparent so I hope that you'll bare with me for a while.
Now, the next piece in this part of the puzzle. The foundation needs it's first Advisory Board. The members of this board will be chosen on Pro bono-basis for, to start with, one year. If you are interested in joining an amazing adventure and being a part of shaping it as we go along – check out the list of wanted competence below and send an application to e.sellstrom[at]gmail.com. If you don't feel that I'm asking for your profile but you still want in – send me an E-mail and tell me what I'm about to miss out on and what you want to contribute with. As I see it we're all in this even though not everyone can be on the Advisory Board. The applicants that seems most suited for the jobs will be contacted with a prospect explaining The Great Idea and the role offered. The first year, being on the board means putting in some actual work and gradually it will be more of an advisory nature.
More spots might appear. They will be posted here and in our Facebook group. I urge you to send me that E-mail pronto.
And no, I'm not kidding. This is for real - I still "see" it.

Struck by Lightning
It came with a bang. Yesterday I had a sort of revelation that was heavy enough to put me in mental bubble. I've had creative rushes like that before but in other contexts like for instance script ideas for movies or books. Yesterday though was all about business ideas. I came up with a couple of OK ideas at first and where juggling them around when an old idea came to me and started to mix in spontaneously. I "watched" as a concept unfolded and was stunned by the clarity of it. I haven't recovered yet.
I'm not a fanatic, I'm not really religious and I'm not here to get rich. My name is Erik Sellström, father of two lovely daughters, husband to a fantastic wife. I work as a Communications Manager at Växjö University in Sweden. And I'm here because I got struck by lightning, or rather a great idea. Most Swedes would consider it crazy but I "see" it. I can see the consequences that it will bring and this idea must be realized and it probably includes you in some way (it actually includes us all).
This blog is the first of many and will grow and move to other platforms. It will document and tell the story about one of the greatest ideas ever. This first post is history in the making and will be referred to firstly as pretentious crap and in a few years as a cool start of a promising venture. And maybe twenty to thirty years from now tales will start to grow of how great things could be achieved by common goals and shared effort.
Whatever your first impressions of this is – I welcome you to follow or join in at some point.
